Minnesota Power contractor rebates for geothermal installations in Northern MN are now only available to IGSHPA certified contractors. 



The federal government has announced beginning in 2009, it will be offering a 30% residential energy tax credit towards the cost of installing a new geothermal heat pump as a way to heat and cool homes.

For commercial applications the tax credit is 10% of installation cost.

The tax credit will be available until the year ending 2016.
